Hi, I'm Cliff! I'm a data scientist who has been working at the intersection of data science, atmospheric science, and aviation. I build machine learning models for climate and aviation weather forecasting, perform domain-based optimisation, and develop agentic LLM applications.
This dashboard is a personal side project. It ingests real-time HKO data streams, typhoon forecasts from Google DeepMind, and aviation weather feeds (ATIS, METAR, PIREP, SIGMET, TAF). They are visualised interactively through charts, maps, and an AI-powered chat assistant. I hope to turn raw meteorological feeds into an intuitive tool for both the public and weather enthusiasts.
The Dashboard
Automatically ingests and parses real-time meteorological data from multiple data sources.
Integrates an AI-powered chat assistant equipped with live weather tooling, letting users explore real-time metrics conversationally.
Integrates AI typhoon forecasts from Google WeatherNext Cyclones Operational. Explore predicted storm tracks up to 15 days ahead, wind ranges for gale to hurricane-force winds, and intensity time series.
Integrates METAR, TAF, ATIS, PIREP, and SIGMET aviation weather data for Hong Kong International Airport, sourced from HKCAD, HKO, and NOAA Aviation Weather Center.
